Marine Cloud is delighted to announce the handover of a bespoke planned maintenance & yacht management system for M/Y Take 5, a Sunseeker 131 Yacht bound for the USA. The system caters for the extensive maintenance schedules required to maintain OEM and Manufacturer equipment.
Early discussions with Captain Jono Bolton highlighted Take 5’s requirements and the Marine Cloud team were able to follow the build of the yacht; every piece of equipment was checked against the specification before being added to the yacht management system.
Marine Cloud’s turn key service meant the crew didn’t have to worry about the labour intensive and time consuming task of setting up manufacturer maintenance schedules. For any new build this efficient approach is valuable and allows the crew to focus on the build and delivering a yacht ready to go straight in to a busy cruising schedule.
Complementary references from other Yachts meant Captain Bolton had no hesitation engaging the services of Marine Cloud and immediately recognised the importance of a planned maintenance system, particularly the detailed fully searchable maintenance log and the benefits this brings to the vessel and owner for resale purposes.
Yachts adopting Marine Cloud from day one will certainly see benefits, it is a smart approach to through life maintenance and will prove its worth when it comes to resale and the history of the vessel.
